Volunteer in Uganda: bring your skills, build hope.
Your time and experience can help Happy Care Foundation strengthen its work for vulnerable people. Tell us what you can offer and explore where it may fit.
People who care. Skills that matter.
We welcome enquiries from people who share our commitment to dignity, inclusion and responsible service. Roles depend on current programme needs and suitable preparation.
Where your skills could contribute
Professional support
Qualified legal and mental health professionals can discuss roles within their competence, subject to programme needs and professional requirements.
Skills and mentoring
Educators, trainers and mentors can enquire about learning and rehabilitation activities that match their experience.
Communications and visibility
Help more people discover HCF through suitable writing, design, digital communication and consent-led storytelling tasks.
Organisational support
Administrative, fundraising and programme support skills can help the organisation deliver its mission responsibly.
A meaningful role starts with the right fit
1. Tell us about yourself
Share your skills, interests, location and availability. These are areas for enquiry rather than advertised vacancies.
2. Discuss a suitable role
The team considers current needs and any relevant qualifications or experience.
3. Prepare before participating
Agree expectations and complete required orientation, screening and safeguarding preparation.
Dignity and safeguarding come first
HCF’s constitution expects staff and volunteers to follow a code of conduct emphasising child protection, professional ethics and integrity.
Protect confidentiality, respect boundaries and follow the organisation’s guidance. Direct work with children or vulnerable people requires appropriate authorisation and supervision.
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a placement.
Let us know how you would like to help
Email info@happycarefoundation.org with the subject “Volunteer enquiry”. Include your name, location, relevant skills, area of interest and availability. Do not send identity documents or sensitive beneficiary information in an initial enquiry.
